Office Doc Editing Finally Coming to webOS?
Ah, it seems just like yesterday…my trusty Palm Treo 650 in hand, reviewing and editing Word documents and sync'ing them back to the PC.
Here we are, in 2010, and webOS user still do not have the capability of editing native Microsoft Office documents. HP has promised a QuickOffice solution soon (in the coming months?), but there may be another solution cropping up over the horizon.
Our friends at webOSRoundup are reporting that Picsel is possibly testing their Smart Office app on the webOS platform right now. Already in the Apple and Android marketplace, this app offers a very slick and comprehensive document editing functionality. In other words, just what we've been waiting for since trading in our trusty PalmOS technology.
